JPEC Student Goes to Open Auditions for America’s Got Talent

America’AGTs Got Talent is a famous Television show. So far the show has 11 seasons aired. There are 4 judges on the show,  Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Simon Cowell.  The host of the show is Nick Cannon. On the show people from all over the country either send in an audition video, or they can go to live Auditions. If you make it through the audition, you get to go to Los Angeles. When you audition you do any type of talent you’re good at. You can sing, dance, do comedy, do magic tricks, and many other things.

A student from JPEC is going to the live auditions on February 4th. Her name is Aleana Jordan. She is in the 8th grade and is 14 years old. She has been singing since she was about 2 years old. Aleana states, “I am excited to be going on Americas got talent, it could be life changing.” The first song that she is thinking of singing is Hallelujah. If she makes it to the real competition, Aleana says she would sing Ave Maria. She also states, “I am more nervous than excited,” and “I have been wanting to go for four years, but never really got the chance to audition.” Aleana says that she is very excited but still nervous because she doesn’t do well with big crowds.
